Spring really is well into full bloom and hints of summer are just around the corner. Last week we attended our first wedding of the season which thankfully was a beautiful sunny day after the torrential rain of the day before.

The night before we were helping to set up the stunning venue and were starting to get concerned with the persistent rain when suddenly, the rain stopped, and two amazingly bright rainbows appeared in the sky over the teepees. This brought such a sense of assurance the something better was on the way. A beautiful display of light that provided colour, energy and hope for tomorrow.

The actual wedding day was beautiful, from the tranquille sunrise to the breathtakingly stunning sunset. This all got me thinking about although we may have been through the dark storms in life (especially over the last few years) a rainbow brings awe and delight in its array of bright colours that gives us a sense of hope and just simply makes us happy.

Spring reflects all these colours of the rainbow as the rains water nature and brings forth exuberant colours from verdant foliage to pretty florals. A true showcase of nature at its best.

Colour Palette

The colour palette this month continues with the spring theme and takes inspiration from bees and lavender.

From honey and the tones of the sun through to lush foliage green and finally to lavender inspired pastels.
